The second concert in the “Music at the Track” concert series at Scarborough Downs was announced April 30 and will feature rappers Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller.

Khalifa and Miller will arrive in Scarborough July 31 as the headline acts of the “2012 Under the Influence of Music Tour.”

The tour begins in Atlanta on July 25 and feature Kendrick Lamar, Chiddy Bang, School Boy Q and Chevy Woods. Tickets, priced at $60.50, $50.50 and $40.50, are scheduled to go on sale today at 4:20 p.m. and can be ordered through waterfrontconcerts.com, ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000.

“I am really excited for this tour, for the fans and as a fan of music myself,” Khalifa said in a press release announcing the concert.

Khalifia has performed more than 350 shows since 2010, including concerts at more than 50 colleges and universities in the past 14 months and appearances at major music festivals. Khalifia’s new single, “Payphone,” which he recorded with Maroon 5, was number three on the Hot 100 Billboard Charts as of the beginning of the week.

He performed the song during an April 16 episode of “The Voice,” a singing competition on NBC. Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, is one of the competition’s judges.

“I’m excited to go on a tour like this because it brings a group of individuals together to move across the country as a unit to showcase great music,” said Miller, who, like Khalifia has been busy touring. Since 2011, Miller has performed more than 200 concerts, including 70 at colleges and universities

The concert announcement comes nearly a week after it was announced that Oxxfest, featuring 5 Finger Death Punch; Killswitch Engage; Trivium; Pop Evil; God Forbid; Emmure and Battle Cross, is coming to Scarborough Downs on Friday, Aug. 10. The daylong concert will begin at noon with local bands playing on a sound stage.
