Saco man arrested in connection to Walmart crime
Late last week, the Scarborough Police Department ended a months-long investigation into reports that a man was taking lewd pictures of women at the Walmart in Scarborough.
On the evening of Friday, Jan. 11, William, Tibbals, 31, of Pepperell Street, Saco, was arrested for placing a camera on his shoe to take pictures up women’s skirts and dresses in July, according to a police release. Tibbals was charged with one felony count of visual aggression against a child under 12 years old and multiple counts of violation of privacy.
The Saco Police Department’s Computer Forensics Unit, as well as the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit in Lewiston assisted Scarborough Police in its investigation.
