Through June 14, Scarborough residents dropped off nonperishable donations to participating Scarborough schools and businesses that helped in the effort, including Saco Biddeford Savings Bank, Blue Point Congregational Church, La- Z-Boy Furniture, and Ron Forest and Son Fence Co. in Scarborough.

Scarborough Food Pantry serves 160 to 200 families per month, with an average of 20 new families each month. Families range in size from one to nine people and cover all age groups. Approximately 60 percent of families include children. Donations are always welcome. Cash and food donations can be made directly to the food pantry at 167 Black Point Road, Scarborough.
