Pine Point Fourth

Pine Point was awash in a sea of red, white and blue Monday during the neighborhood’s 11th annual Fourth of July parade. Festivities included a kids’ fun run, raffles, prizes and strawberry shortcake provided by the Pine Point Ladies Auxiliary. Right, Pine Point resident Alice Carter, with her niece, Malvina Thurlow, served as parade marshal. The parade was held in memory of Judy Shirk, one of the founders of the parade who passed away in August.
