Scarborough Fine Craft Show ready for its ninth season

Maine Crafts Guild artisans will once again show their fine craft in wood, metal, fiber, clay, glass and mixed media at Camp Ketcha in Scarborough, Sept. 15-16. The Scarborough Fine Craft Show is in its ninth season.

The venue for the juried show, Camp Ketcha, sits on 107 acres of meadows, forests, streams and wetlands offering an inspiring backdrop for the professional, member artisans to showcase their heirloom-quality fine crafts.

Camp Ketcha’s trails are open to show patrons for exploration.

Artisans will travel from all over the state to exhibit, with many hailing from the southern coast of Maine.

Area exhibitors include; Jennifer Armstrong (fashion knitwear), Lacey Goodrich and Jonathan White (ceramics), Chaya Caron, Lisa Gent, Cathy Heinz and Jennifer Nielsen (jewelry), Paige Carter (floorcloths), Lisa Ferreira Jones (lighting), Judith Lim (metal wall art), David Pollock (wooden kitchen wares) and Gretchen Schaefer (glass mosaics).

The Maine Crafts Guild is a state- wide organization, established in 1975. Members are selected through a jury-of-peers process and are comprised of journeymen, nationally recognized masters and founding members who dedicate themselves to excellence in fine craft.

Admission is $5. Admission is free for those younger than 18. Camp Ketcha is located at 336 Black Point Road, Scarborough.
